CURRICULA
Marco De Vincentis is a Musician.
He lives in Tuscany, with his wife and his child, and he works between Rome and all over the world.
It loves cats, it plays jazz for passion and classical music for profession....
After these few lines, that also appear on the cover of my books, should insert perhaps a curriculum more detailed. But wath shell I put in it? And, above all, why?
The studies, academic and not I believe, that doesn't interest as, especially in a job as mine, since has never asked me anybody that vote had taken, but thick they told me "Make us feel...". You, because a musician the examinations it passes them every time that exhibits him. And it is not important as has reached a datum level, how much the reached level, for the note. So, besides saying that I have attended the conservatory and I have studied with various teachers, I would not know. To speak of all the teachers it would be a diffuse thing, since I have learned a lot from many. To quote only some of it, would be unfair toward the others. Equally, to quote only those more known would be an action pander towards who reads me.
The various musical extra courses as the various specializations that I have taken during the years, doing various activities, they are without doubt interesting things. But in reality, not must look for a job, I believe is also things that is worthwhile to maintain in the private sphere among the personal satisfactions.
Keeping on speaking of curriculum, or of working excursus, as they say some, I don't like down the practice of metter the list of the develops concerts, or of the situations to which part is taken. This because in my twenty-two years of profession I have done so many of those things, that I frankly would not know whether to quote. A slavish list of the concerts that I have done, or of the situations which I have participated, it would make this web a kind of telephone directory in New York. As I also said above, for against, a selection is impossible to be done and this for a fundamental motive: for a professional that a job does that loves, the secret of everything is in the appointment. And me as professional, are had a good time always me doing my job, so the appointment that there put is always the same, both that I play to the Royal Teather of Parma, both that sound with the band directed by a friend. Because the Music is the most beautiful thing of the servant, in whatever form him face. The main point is to make music.
The whole rest is an accessory. The Music is Life.
